Killed my first hog with my Crossbow

I finally got a crossbow! And she is my new best hunting buddy! Went hunting yesterday evening with it and shot my first hog at 45 yards! We were walking back from where we were originally hunting and then two hogs came out. I shot this on in the eye. Seriously, about 1 inch above its eye. Now I get to look forward to some good eating!

Dammed good shot! I'm a crossbow hunter myself. Have yet to take a hog with it as the vermin haven't infested my hunting area yet, but I'm sure they are coming.
Have taken quite a few deer though.
That should be some really fine eating

Thanks all! I did not make any bacon. Just used the backstraps... then left the rest for the coyotes.

Sweet! My dad was able to hunt with a crossbow when I was young before it was legal due to a hand injury. That thing was fun! We used to Robin Hood arrows all the time it was so accurate. That was 20 years ago. I can't imagine what they are like today.
