I agree it is not the right time to be unnecessarily posting potentially inflammatory material. But, based on his intentions, I've got to give Avtomat Acolyte a pass. He dressed his kid up and didn't want her face out there. I hope everyone can see it for that and let by-gones be by gones.

And I agree with your assessment of Dan01. When he first started posting here, I jumped to a conclusion, got called out on it...and I apologized. I'm 28 but I learned a long time ago to admit when I'm wrong and own my mistakes.

On my part, I have tried to politely express my concerns and point out potential problems. I care not for censorship, otherwise I would have nixed things LONG ago and many times before.

However-

Things are getting to the boiling point in a number of areas, hopefully they will simmer down. I have made out a report to my fellow caretakers and the admins as well so we can all address these issues. In the meantime I hope things do not further escalate and require forced responses.

AS FOR YOU, user aliased as "dan01". you called out a member claiming he has illegal firearms, which can be easily identified as quality work on an SBS or an AOW (think longer serbu supershorty but longer).
Upon being shown that you are incorrect, do you concede in a graceful manner? NO. You go cry in a corner and click on the Ignore button. An excellent poster comes in and critiques you about your actions and then you proceed to ignore him as well! Like a little +++++.

So allow me to give the honor of being the ONLY ACTUAL PERSON on my ignore list.

Speaking of kids with guns, I feel like one at the moment. Got my Sterling parts kit, magazine, and template in the United States Present Service today... so maybe by summer I'll have a shooting replica of an E11. Just waiting on the BATFE letter on the conversion to semi.

BATFE letter request was to find out their specifications for a Sterling semi. IE, how different you have to make it from the FA model. Much easier with the Sterling since there was a factory Semi version (Mark VI IIRC). From what I gather, a denial block for the bolt, change fixed firing pin and open bolt ops to closed bolt/floating firing pin, and remove some crap from the trigger group and weld up the resulting holes. The Sten you actually have to use a smaller diameter bolt.

There's a lot of good info from Weaponeer and other build sites, but I want a letter in hand just to be sure.
