Do yall keep round count logs, with other data with your rifles? I always have with any of my nice bolt guns, but never have with my Semi Autos. If so, what data do you record, where do you keep the info etc?

I maintain a shooting journal where I - hopefully - honestly record my shooting seesions and discuss what went well and what went wrong with the session as well as plans for the future. This includes rounds fired by gun, total rounds fired, and year-to-date counts. Sometimes, I even write comments from watchig others shoot or video's that I've watched.

The journals are written in bound composition books and closed out each year. I still have some of the books from my military time and they've made for some interesting rememberances when I get word of a friends passing.

It is also amazing to see how I determine what I want to use now compared to previous years.
