K9's on a deer

My 8 point I got last year! Have a buddy working on a European mount for my buck called me and told me it has k9's. pretty excited to see it. White tails are new world deer and don't typically have this trait pretty rare. Thought I would share. 8-)

I have only seen them on a type of deer that lives in the Urals in Russia. Cool looking but the teeth are not really functional on them. If you ever get a chance, watch the 6 part series called Wild Russia- great wildlife footage that is really amazing! It has been on Animal Planet a number of times and I think another cable channel or two.

So, never knew we had that here too- got pics of yours? :ugeek:
 
whats sad is the DNR has an article somewhere about the effects of inbreeding on whitetails.

short lower jaw which makes eating difficult, shorter front legs......
