Bear with me. I've never own a colt before and I do not know a lot about them beside good reputation and quality products. After read through the manuals I found that the Trigger pin is larger then the hammer pin. I thought Colt don't do that any more after 2009. I want to buy a trigger set for it now .... well or should I say gotta google nowl

My 3gun carbine started out life as a LE6920, has a 3/12 build date. The FCG pins are both small pins. You might want to measure the two pins, the manual may be a holdover from the older units. I put a Geissele SSA-E in mine, made a huge improvement in splits and long range steel. The rifle I'm working on now will also get the SSA-E.

The SSA-E is very awesome. It's like 1.5 stage
A buddy of mine changed my mind for me and sold me his barely used SD3G for cheap, so I have a new trigger to learn.

Mess up muscle memory? Mike, I need to stop by your shop sometime in Feb and put me in the list for an AI 1911 in .40 build.

having 4different triggers in four different guns is a bad idea.
I hear ya. I figure I'll try it out in the rifle I'm building now. If I like it, I'll put one in my Limited gun too. If not, I'll put an SSA-E in my TO gun. I do like keeping triggers consistent. Makes it easier to shoot consistently.

Colt doesn't make the 6920 with two different pin sizes on the same gun. If it was manufactured recently (as in the last few years), it uses the smaller, more common pins (.154). Any trigger you buy should drop right in. I have a large pin and small pin colt. The large pin is a PITA. I'm very happy they went back to the small-pin.
