This is my first adjustable gas block, well, first rifle build really, and I'm getting a little gas leaking. The gas system rocks, and has my recoil down to almost nothing. When I was getting everything adjusted, and breaking in the barrel, I noticed a black thumb on my support hand. Everything is properly aligned and set in place, but it appears the gas is coming from the roll pin hole that holds the detent in for the "click adjustment" set screw. Anyone else have experience with this, is it just normal?

I have had lots of gas leakage on some of my gas blocks. I usually don't notice it as earlier as you have. If memory serves me the Syrac ones i have in my old stag rifles are the dirtiest/leakiest. I never had any issues with the leak other then a dirty ugly handguard so i never dug into eliminating it.

I don't use adjustable, but mine has gas leakage too. It's always been reliable so I don't try to fix what ain't broke.
