Mine had four of essentially the same engine as found on the F-16. Over the course of a few thousand hours of flying it, I had to shut an engine down twice. No big deal with four engines on board, but I sometimes think that if I had been flying an F-16 over the same hours, that would have meant two complete losses of power ... different story. I was fortunate enough to get a few hours in the F-16 -- it is an incredible jet and a thrilling experience to fly it.
