I am shopping around for a new Jeep Wrangler unlimited (4 door model). Does anyone know of a good reputable Jeep dealer in the OKC area? I am already shopping the 2 nearest me down here in Lawton. I am just trying to see who is out there.

I have 2010 model I bought in Houston before moving back to Oklahoma. I take mine to the Jeep place in Edmond for service and I've been happy with the service there.

Sorry to go off topic a bit, but I took the family to Colorado for vacation last week. The first day had to go to Mesa Verde and look at the cliff dwellings (yawn) and when we got back to the rental cabin I told my better half that the boy and I are going to hit some of the jeep trails up by Silverton. She says fine, just be home by dark so she doesn't worry. Fine. So we hit the trails, it's about 6:30 so we take the quickest way out which is about 7 miles of difficult trails. Get to the highway and when I go to shift back into 2WD the linkage breaks and I'm stuck in 4wd low on the Million Dollar Highway between Silverton and Ouray. We were finally able to get it into 2WD about an hour later and got home about 10:15. She's still picking pieces of my ass out of her teeth, but we got the linkage fixed and got to spend the 4th of July on the Alpine Loop.

I love jeeps.

I am waiting to take final delivery. The dealer here in Lawton didn't have what I wanted but found it at a dealer in FT Worth. Gave me a hell of a price on my trade, interest rate beyond what I ever thought I'd get, and went to Ft Worth to get it. Now just waiting fire the thing to get here so I can finally drive it.

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine. Don't know if they still offer it, but I got a bumper to bumper, unlimited mileage warranty through Chrysler. It was called their Gold sumpthin or other warranty and covers just about anything but rubber and glass. I got mine for under $2,000. I figured, it's a jeep and I'll probably keep it even when it's too old to be my daily driver. It can be voided if you do a lot of stuff to your jeep, huge lifts and such, but I got the Rubicon and it gets me pretty much where I want to go as it is. I'll put a 3" lift kit on it one of these days and some after market bumpers but thats about it.

Well I finally took final delivery today. I have to say this is probably the most painful car buying experience I have ever had. That being said I love my Jeep. I did make a slight mistake though. I ended up getting manual windows, locks, and mirrors. Other than that it is great.
