Picked up a little Saiga .308 this weekend. Don't like the furniture so that will change. Also need to do a trigger conversion. I was also thinking of taking the barrel from 22" down to 18", ordering an annular cutter and threading the barrel for a muzzle device. One thing for sure, it's a heavy beast, especially out front.

These have always intrigued me. How would you compare it to and AR-10. Looks like a beast.

It's pretty heavy but I'm going to hopefully trim it down some with lighter furniture. I don't think they are as accurate as an AR-10 is expected to be but I've read they can shoot tight groups with hand loads over factory ammo. We'll see. I don't load so I'll try some different brands to see what it likes to eat.
On another note...I want one of those PA-10's PSA has on sale this month.
