Is it better to be an open or secret prepper?

I've had a large amount on non-surgical medical training. I'm going to go to the Red Cross in Columbia and check out the 1st Aid manual the website says is free. If it's any good/worth having, I'll let ya'll know.

Awesome! Thanks for the effort!

Even our state wants us to prepare!!! Responsible citizens are prepared.

What, no gun? No ammo?

You know the gubmit not gonna recommend firearms for prepping, that is a personal responsibility to provide for you protection. :D

I haven't forgotten about the 1st Aid book. I will be able to get it some time this week for sure.

Looking forward to a report on the book. Have tried to piece together the "right" first aid supplies with some level of training in first aid care beyond the bare basics and both are nigh impossible to find, unless you build a kit and train yourself.

I called the American Red Cross this AM (25 Sept) trying to get in touch with them to see if they had any of the 1st Aid manuals in stock but no one answered. I will try back shortly.
