Going to be awesome. I can't wait and I don't even get to shoot it with a squad.
I don't care if no one wants to squad with you. You can shoot with squad 1. [emoji379]

Haha. Thanks Burk!!

Successfully tested the new steel targets we will see at 130 yards. Shot the 3 of them 10 times each today and they are right as the mail, wait, that's not a good thing anymore. They work great. They are 8"x5.5" steel that look like a small USPSA target. Going to be a great little off-hand target.

Ah yes, but with any bad rule, there is always exemptions for local matches!! :)

1.1.5.1 Level I and Level II matches are not required to comply strictly with the freestyle requirements or round count limitations (see Section 1.2)

I got your back there speed shooter!! :)

And the rule is 40 rounds, not 20, you're reading it wrong. Just ask me if you're wondering about something

"If 2 hits per paper target are required, the number of maximum rounds to complete is increased to 40 and the maximum number of scoring hits from any single location or view is increased to 10 (16 for targets placed at more than 100 meters distance). "

I didn't read the whole thing. I was so shocked by the tiny 20 round limit I quit and came to post. Looks like that 20 round deal is for long range.

I was aware of the 40-round max but I thought I would point out the exemption instead.. Makes the "X rounds from one place" maximum a little looser.. :)

Yup, on a level I that's not a problem, on a level II people might complain, but then the rest is just going to say.....who cares....what does another target matter in the big scheme of things.

At the recent rifle nationals here I shot almost 60 rounds on the 40 round 300m stage, the wind was changing direction every 3 seconds, and everyone ahead of me had tons of problems, so I just though it better to just put some extra lead downrange, came through with only one mike....on a 200m target.

Who needs sights with a tracer every 5th rnd.......right?

Who is running the match? I have a question about squadding. I had an Australian friend register, and I'd like to get on a squad with him.
