Just to clarify, since Burk asked and we all know how that story will get out..

A sling for carrying your rifle will NOT be required. However, we will be shooting long range in some positions that would make it very helpful, if you know how to properly use a sling, to have one.

So you are making reference to the 4" steel? I have a sling for the heavy gun, but the single point for my AR ain't gonna help much.

Not really.. The 300 yard IPSC Classic target from the kneeling, sitting and prone position. Off-hand with a sling doesn't help much..

We are down to 20 or so spots left for the match. You don't want to miss this one. A true IPSC level 2 rifle match with incredibly fun, but very challenging stages. The round count is not very high, probably close to 175 for all 7 stages. Expect tight shots at close range, so know your offset, as well as 4 MOA shots at distance. All steel will be knockdown and will be painted for every shooter! All paper will be IPSC Classic targets (duh) with a mixture of very technical as well as run and gun.
