In 2010 when I got to attend several long range matches 6.5 X 284 and 6.5 x 47 appeared to me as the most popular cartridges used by are OK shooters. Two years later all the 6.5 X 284 have disappeared and lots of short action 6.5 & 6mm calibers are popping up.
I recently had a rifle built by Matt Parry which consist of
591 Surgeon Action
Manners T2 stock with M5 bottom metal
Krieger 22" barrel
Muscle break
Schmidt and Bender with H2cmr reticle
Jewell trigger
chambered in 6.5 Creedmore
That list sure does sound simple looking back.
It was nice to pack everything in a box and send it to the gunsmith even better was getting the call the rifle is finished.
