Installing Night Sights

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum.

I just got my hands on an HK USP 45 compact tactical. Love the gun but I really want to put night sights on it. I've decided on Trijicon HD sights.

I'm looking for a reputable gunsmith/armorer around the Charleston area who does a good job with handgun sight work. I know they aren't super difficult to install but I'd rather have a professional take care of it. In my mind, the consequences if you screw it up can potentially be pretty high (best case the sights break and I have to get a new set, worst case they aren't lined up right or aren't in just right and the one time I need to use it for self defense it doesn't perform).

So if anyone could recommend someone reputable near Charleston who does good sight work on handguns, I would appreciate it.

Dave: Welcome to the Forum...

We have a couple of Lowcountry sponsors that I can personally recommend. Both have done work on my guns. I will list them, but not in an order as I feel they both do good work.

I installed night sights on my G23. I bought the sight block tool and had no problem removing the old one and installing the new one. If I remember correctly I paid around $65. Glock front sights are simple to change and the tool door that isn't pricey at all.
