Samsung diodes with a new lens system that amplifies the light output.

They really work. With 2 lights you can grow anything from seed to fruit in a 2' X 4' area.

You can try to start plants like this in a greenhouse. However if you don't have 78 degrees at their feet & 12 hours of perfect sunshine above, well good luck.

Nice set up! I tried using common florescent lights to grow a garden in our basement in the 70's. The plants grew, but never put on fruit. Now I understand, it's the frequency of the lighting that makes all the difference.

It seems until last season I was stuck in the 70s. 2 8' VHO fluorescents was our seed starting lights.
300 watts per fixture & a grow footprint of 11" x 3' not a very good pay back on 300 watts of energy.

300 watts & a true 2' x'4' footprint with so much power to spare. I never turned them up past 50 percent.
I have seen youtube videos where they have weeds growing out of the soil in the pots beneath the flowering plants.

The main difference between LEDs & Fluorescents is light penetration LEDs in feet & Fluorescents in inches.

This is the light you have been waiting for. I thought they would never go below $500.00 but they did & at the right time.
