Sold/Expired In Stock Ammunition - Get it Fast!

One of the guys I work with told us of his trip to the Ponca walmart. The shelves have been empty for a long time, but he just happened to walk by the ammo counter when they were restocking. People were lined up, and every time the clerk put a box on the shelf, somebody took it off, then their wife took the next 3 boxes, and it went on. Sad.

This is the shelves at my Walmart and it's been this way for a long, long time! Some 380, a box of 40 shotgun shells and a few rifle rounds that's it.

I noticed that Red River Ammo Company has just started selling .223 ammo. Anyone shoot some of those rounds yet? Oh, and they are $8.50 a box. Think they are my going to be my goto store for ammo depending on me shooting some of their 9mm ammo that I have backordered.

Ive shot 1000 rounds of Red River .223 & 9mm. My father in law had one bad round in his case. That's the only oops I've heard of from them.

Out of the 5K of 9mm I've had from Red River I had one FTF, had a good primer strike, just didn't go bang. I should've run it back through to see what it did a second time, but I didn't. It was during a practice session and not at a match. I've not had any other issues and I've got another 3K on the way.

I've been very pleased with thier 9mm ammo and the goup buy pricing.

Red river ammo is great! Never had an issue with any ammo from them. My plan from now is to only order from them! We need to be supporting our local businesses more than ever right now also. In addition while I have never met Trevor, I have communicated with him via text and phone and all I can say is excellent customer service!

Jesse, was the oops a FTF or a squib?
I think it was a squib. It happened during the TDSA class. Bullet never left the chamber. Gun wouldn't go into battery.

Out of a case of Red River .45 ammo, I had 1 round that wouldn't chamber (there was a bulge near the bottom of the case).
Also, the entire case is very low power, It won't even make major power factor from a 5" 1911.

I got 1k of red river 9mm in the last gb. I've shot half of it. I had one squib and one dented primer that didn't go off. I have a reduced spring kit, so I'll give the primer hit a pass. But the primer dent was pretty deep.
