I'm looking for belt suggestions

Howdy,

I've been rocking my tactical belt I use for subgun competitions up until this point and the simple fact that I don't have enough real-estate up in front due to the huge bucle on it. Can you guys shed some light on what you use for a belt and why. Do you use multiple ones or just pull stuff on and off the same one?

CR speed belt with the overlapping part in back is what you're gonna want to do.
I need to get another belt to dedicate for 3 gun, but for now I just swap gear on it for uspsa and 3 gun.
 
Safariland ELS if u have the money... I do not! Lol... I run a CR speed but my buddy has a ELS and it's awesome.... So easy to change out equipment and u never have to take the belt off
 
I have a few CR Speed/Double Alpha belts that I run. I'm not impressed by the fixed positions on the ELS or I would already have one. I need to look closer at the BladeTech clip on setup. It has more versatility as best I can tell.
 
I wore my buckle in the back for 3 gun then switched to CR belt
When I practice with CR belt I put 4 caddies in front followed by magazine holders this helped in 3 gun keeping everything in same place when I grab shotgun shells or magazines
 
CR Speed it is. I Have a few buddies who run them and like them I just wasn't sure if there was something else out there that I might want to consider. The ELS belt seems OK but for some reason it doesn't do it for me. Thanks guys!
 
Personally, I love my competition cobra belt from DSG Arms. I just switched to BladeTech's mini-TMMS mounting system and I am in love. With the tek-lok attachments it is much more versatile than the ELS from what I can tell (since I have never used an ELS Belt).

Man I'd love to see a few close up pictures of the BladeTech stuff up close.
 
I am rocking a cobra buckle at the moment on my subgun rig and I love it however I find myself needing/wanting to put stuff up front and the belt I use has a riggers hook up and a cobra buckle which takes up a bit of room. It looks like the DSG operators belt. I've debated running it with the buckle in the rear but haven't messed with it yet
 
I use the DSG Arms competition belt with the Blade Tech TMMS system. I put the buckle on the outer belt just behind my holster. I have 13 TMMS female clips attached to the outer belt by Blade Tech Tek Loks. All of my caddies, mag holders, pinwheels, and holsters have the TMMS male clip on the back.
I used CR Speed belts in the past, but had them come un-velcroed during some 40+ round shotgun stages. NOT a problem with the DSG Arms belt.
 
Any chance you could post a photo of your rigs with the DSG arms setup + TMMS. I'd like to see what they look like Thanks!

I also place my buckle in the back.

You know how small I am, Todd. I still have plenty of space up front. It's a great rig.
 
The DSG Arms belt is simply a CR Speed belt with a buckle isn't it?

Oh and we need some pictures here fellas!

It looks like a nice setup. What prevents the sections from sliding around on the belt?

Since they are attached to tek locks they are stuck where u put them when you snapp the tek lock around your belt. My current kit never moves with the tek locks.

I have the DSG Comp Belt. You can see it tomorrow.
The MMS attachments look interesting. i will have to try some.
One note about the DSG belt is that I got in this past October and the outer layer of the outer belt
is starting to separate from the inner stiffener right where the holster is.
I do plan on calling DSG about this.
probably due to amount of sliding different holders on and off which is why I'm
interested in the MMS

I like the belt though overall.
