Meh.........
I have an ideology question of sorts.....and yes, it does pertain to firearms, to a point.

I'm getting older, I'm looking at a few surgeries in the future. I recently put a few pistols up for sale, mainly to pad savings account a bit. I got cold feet and withdrew the sale of the most expensive one I own. I can not replace this one.

So here is the question. If you are looking at something like a few surgeries and know that the copays will be rather expensive, what are your thoughts on selling "toys" vs raiding the savings or retirement funds?

Depends which means more to you for me the guns are last resort. Unless of course find something better have to have. The gun in not replaceable the money is if times get tough by selling then gun.

Raid the savings first, then it is a hard decision for me between the retirement fund and the guns. I'd sell every other gun I own before a certain handful I have.
