Ideas for making a clay pigeon holder.

Flatland, that's an awesome idea, thanks for sharing. I'll be yanking the bolts of mine and doing that. Do you have issues with them loosening up by hammering them into the ground?

Even simpler is 1/2" rebar, with a 3" hook bend on the end.

Put the rebar in the vice, heat at about 3.5" from the end in the vice. When it turns orange, bend to about 110 degrees. Drive them in at a laid back angle and they work great.

The nuts come with a small lock washer. I've shot the day lights out of these things and never had one loosen up. Had one shooter go after them with a box of Prairie Storm loads. Did not hurt them one bit.

I guess it would be easier if you had a bench vice and torch. I have a screwdriver. Okay, two screwdrivers.
Well yes, but who does not have at least a propane torch? That and a piece of concrete and a block of dense wood would suffice.

I thought about that as soon as I posted it. I love me some not-quite-pure-Florida orange juice. I don't drink anymore, but I damned sure did love my screwdrivers and kamikazes. I never understood how people considered the kamikaze to be a shot. I drank them out of 32 oz gas station cups.

He posted them.
Here are flat landers photos.

I just looked the the pics again. Flatland, Are you trying to shoot deer on a golf course? Piles of corn on the fairway is an excellent idea.
