I put JP LMOS stuff in my gun last weekend, and it felt a bit lighter. Or maybe it was just the side effect of the dream of having a real pro-elephant dung 3-Gun rifle coming true.

I'd bet it did save some weight. I just put a 9mm AR pistol together and was shocked at how heavy it turned out. The weight comes from the BCG and buffer. It sure isn't the stubby 7" barrel.

The JP barrel is super badass, but man it's expensive.

I was chasing a lite weight gun and I was getting there until I shot a guys heavy gun I didn't realize how much muzzle jump and sight movement was creeping back into my rifle. I prefer heavy unless your just hosing in small bays.
