I wish he'd put the ultralight .22 barrel back on the market. By the time I got around to building a dedicated .22 rifle, they were discontinued.

I picked up this Keltek PMR-30 today.
30 rounds of gold dot .22 mag. Shoots extremely accurate and the trigger is WAY better than I expected.
Mount a weapon light under it to become my new armadillo and varmint killer at home and at the farm.

What guns/gear did you get today?

What did I buy today ? I have been trying to be good lately but Friday I stopped into a local shop here in NY. After a bit of browsing and the NY paper shuffle I returned home with this S&W Pre 27 . Need to get to the range and sling some lead with it . Ill keep ya updated with the punishment she brings.

With quitting my job and starting my own company this spring, gat purchases are on pause. But I did win at least one Glock, maybe a second his past weekend at Park City GSSF.

Most exciting purchase I’ve made the past couple weeks are a couple Vogel triggers, some extra fiber filament for my sights, and some Dawson Precision base pads. ‍â™'

I figured out the FTFeed today at the range. Some of the Winchester ammo has a ballistic tip. It increased the OAL of the cartridge just enough that the tip of the bullet touches the front of the mag at times. I had a FTFeed today as well, and carefully opened the chamber while looking. The bullet was nose down in the mag with it touching.
Swapped over to a flat nose hollow point, and did two 30 round mag dumps as fast as the trigger could be pulled, and it was flawless.

Picked up my new open gun today from my FFL. Freedom gunworks/CK Arms 38 super comp. Didn't have any bullets till I got home. Santa (aka UPS person) stopped by the house while I was at work. Hope to put some rounds through it tomorrow.
