Sweet! I was JUST looking at y'all's billet lowers. I need to scrape up the cash...maybe even a deposit to hold one? I can PM you for details...

I want a matched upper and lower one of these days, when big brother stops furloughing me or taking my education benefits.

Joel, I've sent a PM and an e-mail...I'd like to come down next week and get one of these lowers at $135. I'd like to snag one for that price because the online store says $150...but I don't want the stock of Gen 1's to get sold before I can get one.

Just placed my order, Joel. I'll be in touch about a date/time next week I can swing by and pick it up.

Thanks for the great price!

If anyone else is looking at getting one of these lowers, enter the coupon code "AR15.COM" without quotes and it'll drop the price down to the advertised $135.

Now I need to strip my Stag Arms lower down so I can sell it...

im just interested in how you will price it with the post that James firearms is selling lowers for $55.

meaning i couldnt sell it if i tried to get what i paid, so thats why i dont sell my guns. ill just leave them to my wife and son.

I'm not trying to get what I paid; that's impossible.

However, they are selling blems at that price and ironically PSA started a sale for the same thing several days earlier at the same price. PSAs blemished lowers are usually $99 and even with the $55 sale price you still have to pay shipping and an FFL fee unless you pick it up in store after ordering online... They don't honor web sales in the stores.

My Stag lower is not a factory blemish, meaning there is nothing wrong with the anodizing. It is used, with the same marks from the ejection port cover and charging handle that any other lower would get. I'm not going to attempt to make money off of it but I'm not getting giving it away either. I'll decide on a price when I actually go to list it.

Billet lower is put together and on the rifle.

If anyone is considering one...do it! Won't find a billet lower for this value anywhere. Fit and finish is great. The hole where the buffer detent and spring sits, like Joel/BuellRider mentioned, was snug so I used a conical polishing stone from my dremel kit...a half dozen rotations with my fingers and the detent and spring slid right in.
