Maybe I've just gotten spoiled with 17+ round mags, or a grip that's not cold in the winter or hot in the summer.

I'll tell you something interesting. There is a Custom Handguns page on Facebook, and it has many members of the Pistolsmith Guild and other brand-name 1911 builders. They are talking about the H9, and most of them are planning to buy one to try out. So is Pat Kelley.

Maybe add some "tactical grips" lol. Any idea what sights fit it? For some reason I doubt it's cut for standard 1911 sights, judging by the "r&d" they had with Trijicon

Probably Novak dovetails. Those are a good safe bet. In reality it doesn't matter, anything close can be filed to fit.
