Ok so I'm sorta stumped here - we had this great idea of the virtual prize table but can't quite figure out the best way to do it.

Any thoughts?

Would you rather us just number the prizes and give them randomly?

I thought about doing a Google Hangout and trying to do it live but I'm sure not everyone would be able to make it.

Bring out the ideas!!!

I assumed we would first do the drawing for the order of finish. Then we open up the thread with the prizes and let em pick. After each pick we out the new owners name next to it.

I agree, I thought that's what was going to happen.

That's simple enough. May drag out a bit though. Would hate for it to take days and days waiting for someone to check-in, but also can't penalize someone for going to work or something equally as silly.

Best way to do it.

My one worry - what if the guy that wins is out of town for a week - then the 2nd guy is out for 3 days. This could take a WHILE!!!!!

Is everyone ok with that?

If you have them, send an email about the schedule of events. Maybe some sort of allowed time a competitor has to make his choice.

if you do set a time limit, after time expires they should get the most valuable prize still on the "table" as the default.

It may be hindsight, but next year, if you chose to run this event again, to set a day for the virtual prize table.

I very much agree. It has been fun to wear the Boomer Shooter "flag" in the SouthEast. It was a great motivator to push me a little more.

I bet if you send out an email with the date the prize table occurs most everyone will be ready. It might take 2 weeka. So what

Also like we talked about, allow proxy selections

I'm ok with it taking awhile if that's how it goes. It would be jive to have the whole order list up front though so everyone could get a "ball park" of when they might be up.

Again - no time limit - would not be fair and I want this to be fair to everyone who participated.
I agree, I don't want a time limit either but I can tell you I still have lowers that I haven't gotten shpg info on & an unclaimed BoomerShooter t-shirt from when we did those (like 2 years ago).
