How often do you Carry?

We already talked about carrying extra magazines but we never really got into ACTUAL daily carry. Lets do a poll and talk about the results

I have a gun in every vehicle, and one on my person, 24/7 unless I'm in an area where they are illegal.
Spare mags for all.

I carry every where I go unless illegal to do so. Some places with 30.06 signage I have decided that I didn't need to go into their establishment. My wife carries a gun in the car at all times. I don't carry any spares, might have to start!

I don't carry a gun regularly because I generally don't go to bad parts of town and don't always feel the need to. I know there will be a lot of people saying "a gun on your person is better than a gun left at home" or "its better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it" etc... But that's my choice.

I do however keep a knife on my person at every waking moment. It may not equal up to a gun, but its better than nothing.

Matt I will at least give you props for being honest. We will work on you and get you to carry more, hopefully before you need it.

I normally don't carry on person just haven't found the right holster yet and I think I wear the wrong clothes for carry as I can always see my pistol when I look in the mirror and have been ask twice what I carry :-O

Troy when I get the mag pouches we might need to talk about a holster idea I have and when I see ya I hope your carrying! Later,

I don't carry regularly either. Work in State Govt' buildings where it is prohibited, and don't feel comfortable leaving one in the truck where I work and park...afraid of it getting stolen. Most evenings I'm at Grandkids sporting events too.

I have carried on my days off and weekends.

I'd be interested to hear in what manner folks like to carry. I know I'm a fan of AIWB, but lately I've grown fond of my Maxpedition versapack. And yes, it is a purse.

I am a fan of appendix carry, too, but haven't found the right holster yet I guess. The only time I'm carrying OWB is if I'm shooting a match.

When the attire doesn't allow for body carry, I carry in an LA Police Gear bailout bag's hidden pocket. I may give a Maxpedition bag a go though, too. Some day.

I like AIWB but only with my snubby, everything else is IWB @3:30. NO MAN PURSE!

You are definitely getting old............. *SMH*........

I carry everyday, all day, unless I'm showering or sleeping, and even then each are an arms length away. Glock 23 IWB 3'o clock and an extra mag.

My Dad taught me well. Any town in America, I will arrive via the 'hood. Without a doubt, every time. But you know what? I have seen some of the shadiest folks in what looks like "safe" lilly- white- middle- class parts of Anytown, USA. Not to mention those bad folks we all worry about are mobile and tend to show up where the money is...

My neighbor was murdered between our office building and his car at noon in broad daylight in a "better part of town."
