Hello - I'm new to GunBroker and am interested in your Benelli, but I wanted to make sure you were really asking $50 for shipping or if that was a typo??? Every other long gun I've looked at today was either "buyer pays actual shipping" or a more reasonable $25 fee. I ship UPS daily and know their rates, just want to double check and see if that's really what you intended. Thanks! Have a great evening.

If anyone has an issue with paying $50 insured shipping via FEDEX 2-3 day air, you can have this shipped with who ever you want to. You will just pay actual pack/ship cost and be 100% respondable for the package arriving in tip top shape! USPS is running on about 50% of normal workers and lots of them are disgruntled and they currently own more firearm damage claims than ever before! The LOST a $700 knife that was REGISTERED and insured and ive been fighting with them for 6 months trying to get paid! Mean while im out the blade and I had to take care of customer who never received the knife. USPS also owes more in damage claims than EVER before times 10 and getting them to pay is ridiculous. I know 3 dealers and 2 private sellers out big money with both outfits so i ship FEDEX and dont have any problems. The actual shipping cost that i pay thru Fedex insured 2-3 day plus proper packing on a long gun is $75 to $100 so i think $50 is more than fair but you can have this shipped anyway you want, you are just responsable! LOL! Hows that? If you want to save $10 shipping on $1000 shotgun/ligh/mount package and gamble it being destroyed, you can handle it when it has tire tracks on the box! LOL! And YES tire tracks accross the box is A REAL DEAL as it happened just a couple months back and they still have not paid.

Its just numbers guys! If you dont want to pay the shipping price, bid a few bucks less so your total is suitable to you. If you win you win and you get first class shipping at a price you are comfortable with for the package including shipping. Just a numbers game. Bid what you are willing to pay with the shipping figured in. If you want cheaper shipping im willing to ship anyway you want, its just you are responable for shipping condition. It will be packed perfectly and dropped off if perfect shape and what ever happens after that is yours to deal with if we skimp on shipping. Rates went up 1st of the year and insurance costs went up and are going up again!

Lol! Thanks man. Dipshit has a reserve on the gun. I always set the reserve high enough to cover shipping. Nobody likes winning an auction then realizing shipping is outrageous.

Two for the price of one....

When sellers charge $35 or $40 they are shipping UPS GROUND! UPS damaged gun claims are at an all time high, so you want to take responsibility on your end when the gun is wrecked? You want to fight with UPS WHO NEVER EVER PAYS A CLAIM? To save $10? Or ship FEDEX 2 DAY AIR that costs me well over $100 to ship so the buyer is only paying for half the shipping bill and that’s not counting professional packaging! LOL! Bid $10 buck cheaper as its all just a numbers game. You and your buddy, or its you, are the ONLY guys to EVER WHINE about shipping cost so if you don’t like it...don’t bid! LOL! That simple! This gun will sell and the INTELLIGENT BUYER who understands that shipping insurance rates and problems shipping guns has gone thru the roof wont blink when he pays HALF the real shipping bill! LOL! If you really are just a new guy and not the retard causing crap than how the hell do you even know whats what anyway? LOL! Don’t like it, don’t bid as I could care less my friend! You can pay actual shipping cost with ANY SHIPPER YOU WANT! Hows that? LOL! BUT....YOU GET TO DEAL WITH THE HEADACHE WHEN YOUR GUN ARRIVES WITH TIRE TRACKS ACROSS THE BOX! LOL! Cool? Cool! Works for me! LOL! So it sounds like you are in business if you are shipping every day and you know all the rates. So you do know that INSURANCE HAS GONE THRU THE ROOF WITH A 35% INCREASE AS OF JAN 1, 2012. So you want to save $10 when shipping a $1000 shotgun with a $150 tac light and a custom $120 mount? LOL! Like I said, no problem, you just take FULL responsibility for the gun getting to you.

I bet this guy lives in his mom's basement.

Perhaps he is a Wizard that builds he experience points by making almost every other sentence an "LOL".
