How much is an AK-47 / AKS going for now?

I have a stamped AK-47 / AKS, and I was wondering roughly what they are going for right now. Not sure if I want to sell it, but I figured this would be a good place to get a decent guess at the market value on one.

Thanks.

Your post contains almost zero information.

For most accurate assistance you will have to post multiple, high-quality pictures and list the Make, Model, Caliber and every piece of information discernable about the rifle in question.

This is the only picture I have at the moment, but I will take some more detailed ones tomorrow. It is stamped, not machined. I believe it is Belgium made, labeled as an AKS. Im just looking for a rough idea of what they are going for right now, but I will update with more details tomorrow.
Thanks

I don't believe Belgium produced any AK's. The rifle appears to be Hungarian from the picture. Possibly Bulgarian.

When you can transcribe the markings upon the weapon it should be much easier to estimate the resell value. The prices really do fluctuate wildly between the various types of AK's.

Thank you very much for the info.

I apologize for my first post being so vague.

Here's a few things that seem to go into pricing alot of firearms AKs being one of them. The more of this info you can provide, the more honest estimate we could give. Really good detailed pics will help as well.

-Milled or stamped receiver
-Factory built or kit gun
-Numbers matching
-Manfacturer of receiver
-Builder of gun
-Pre or post ban
-Accessories, furniture, ect
-Round count
-Overall condition

No need to apologize, feel free to ask any questions you want here. Most likely somebody will come up with the info you are looking for as well! 8-)

If you live near anyone you might be able to meet up with them at a local range and have them look the gun over if they know anything about AKs.

There's quite a few guys in NC and SC that, while not exactly experts, are definitely more knowledgable than the average gunstore clerk.

I took some good clear pics today, so hopefully I can get a better estimate on value.
Thanks again for all your input and advice :)

I can't tell you specifics since I'm only an acolyte and not a pope...

But I guarantee it is over $600 and may be as high as $1500 given that Chinese weapons (anything their military produces, actually, thanks George W. Bush!) are prohibited from import and "you can't get 'em anymore."

Wow, thanks. I'm debating strongly on selling it, just because money is tight at the moment..... but I love my AK. It has never given me a problem, never jammed, ect. I have a couple different pistol grips for it, and 1 piece Sporter style stock, 4 mags (20-40rd), and about 100 rd's of ammo.

I was just trying to figure out a fair asking price.

If you ever feel like being the owner of a couple of PASGT and ACH kevlar helmets along with some other random Army Surplus then I'd be more than happy to take her off your hands for you!
