How many rounds did you shoot this week?

Something like 80 at Heartland....Ran 24 at a paper plate Monday... before I cleaned the pistol up.

Been "revisting" the Ruger 77/22. Found a pile of 1/4 sized "man" targets and Ive been shooting those at 75 yards.

Ran another 100 shot shells through the Benelli last night. That's 375 for the month. Shot about 80 at heartland.

I think I'm gonna use this thread to keep tabs on total yearly round count. It might help me know when to change springs and clean stuff.

73 rounds of 9mm at Heartland Sunday, 1 extra than total stage count cause I missed a knock down and had to shoot twice at it.

Dry-fire every chance you get, draw-and-aim every chance you get (or make time to practice same). Get yourself a POS revolver like an RG, or a Nagant revolver, for Christmas, and use it to develop your trigger pull. "Practice makes perfect" isn't just some old bullshit.

see I practice great - my trigger pulls are outstanding when nothing is in it and pointed at 5 to 10 yards. I started to have friends load mags with random dummy rounds to help me to see my exaggerations - I can tell you that my low left has improved after two trips - I noticed that if I do flinch - I push straight down or break wrist up - Dan mentioned that I can not look at my sights and shoot like most of the people at the competition, ha ha, no he mentioned looking away and focusing on any wrist motion when dry firing to get a good feel for any movement. It has been helping a lot - I think that visiting that TDSA link a few more times should fix me right up tho.

Ran the 3 gun stage with Andersen's gear yesterday at the SWAT championship. Shot about 20 rifle, 20 pistol, and 10 bird shot. Then I headed out to OKGC to burn up another 75 9mm rounds with Rusty at the plate rack.

Around 300 (?) at USPSA at OKCGC, flopping around like a fish. I was thinking about hurling my G17 at one of the targets, but my RO's were too cool to piss off.

Met Billy D and Cameron out at OKCGC for a little plinking Friday. Shot 50 rounds of .223, 50 rounds of 9mm and 10 or so .45acp thru Cameron's FNP45
