I shoot a Full-Size M&P 9 in IDPA haven't had a chance to shoot a match in a while though... Need to get back to it...

I also would eventually like to get a 9L & have Mike work it over for me & throw some Big Dots on it... Someday

My wife has a thoroughly olyellerized M&P she uses and I shoot a couple of different M&P's depending on what I feel like using.

Just completed installing my new TruGlo TFO sights and Apex Competition AEK. I am thoroughly impressed with how smooth the trigger is and how light the pull is. The reset is very distinct. It has breathed new life into my 9L. The sights are very nice as well, I love the no-light/low-light/daylight sight picture. Can very clearly see the sights in all lighting conditions. Looking forward to shooting her!

If there is another gun out there that feels better in the hand than an M&P I want to know about it.

I have recently been thinking about letting my XD40 go that I have been shooting in 3-gun and getting a Glock 17, but now I'm wondering if I should get a M&P 9. My current M&P is a 40, but I'm thinking I might want to try a 9mm in competition. I don't know.

I am just getting started in competitive shooting and when I was trying to decide on using my XD or looking at something else I began the touch and feel analysis and no matter what I picked up I always went back to the M&P. I will shoot my first match on 4/16 and look forward to it
