I can't call the guy a moron. He's a gun grabbing busy body and criminal, but not a moron. He just can't understand why people WOULDN'T want him running their lives. After all, he's richer, smarter and better than the peasants he rules. He doesn't see the need for people to have guns, and feels everyone should have his opinion. What do people need guns for? You want to defend yourself? Just hire armed bodyguards. What? You mean you can't afford them? Then you're obviously not important enough to protect.
