i bet he came running to you like the blazes for "a treat".

i saw one last week in the afternoon heat padding across a hay meadow near campus. He looked a little mangy and skinny.

Took my dog Gunner out back last night to relieve himself and there was one in my back yard. Went inside and grabbed the suppressed AR, but he moved to a point where I didn't have a clear shot by the time I got back out there. Gunner will be getting an armed escort for his late night bathroom breaks from now on!

Nice yote BTW. :)

Nice!
What ammo you use? I just picked up some Hornady Superformance 40gr. Supposed to be 4000 fps. I'm hoping it shoots good from my AR because I think it'll be wicked on varmints.

Was out this morning having my coffee and a smoke when along came mom and dad yote.
saw dad first and thought that dog looks alot like a yote, then mom came by. Yep they were yotes.
Just when i thought the village didnt have any more wildlife.
I grewup in the village in the 60"s played with snakes of all kinds, horntoads tarantulas, you name it. But back then if you went 1/2 mile north you were in the sticks.
Now that edmond and okc has grown together didnt think we had anything like that still around.

A few years back I saw a yote running along hefner expressway by the britton exit during the middle of the day. There are also a decent amount of deer below the hefner damn that live by the fish hatchery. Think the most I have counted at one time was 13. A few decent sized bucks too.

Coyotes are everywhere believe it or not. Just because you don't see them everyday doesn't mean they aren't there. Some of the best hunting you can find are right outside city limits. People just assume that 'fluffy' or 'scrapy' ran away when in fact they were probably a coyotes dinner.
