I know they are varmint rounds designed to be frangible. Range rules? Reason I'm asking, is that I'm prepping about 2K rounds using .55 grain FMJ Noslers.

I haven't shot them yet, but the published ballistics are amazingly flat and effected much less by wind than the other bullets in similar weights.
