So I needed a single point sling for my M&P 15-22, so I decided to go Bob Villa on it.

All I did was get a 1" lashing strap from the outdoor section of Walmart(6ft, ~$2) that had the clip on it, and went to working on a mechanism.

Long story short, a little scissor work and some super glue, and we're in business.

It doesn't stretch, but I fitted it with a little wiggle room, and it works like a charm.

If anyone wants me to show you how to do it, let me know and I'll try to whip up a diagram or something.

It's a great alternative to the more expensive ~$40 ones. This one costs less that $5.

its hanging a bit low isn't it? That is an awesome idea though. Try that configuration out and see if you like it. If you find that the gun slaps your knees too much down there, look into either a sling plate adaptor, or using your same methods to make a two-point sling.

ETA: Here in Oklahoma, it is traditional to display just the longhorn upside down, not the word "Texas"

Yeah I need to get one of the adapters so I can hook it right at the back of the lower instead of the end of the stock, but I'm sure I'll come up with something for that too haha
