Home made Range

Here are some better pics of my range. I tried to edit or delete the other post just couldn't figure it out. There seems like there used to be an edit button and now it is gone.

I cleaned a few things out. I think I can add some more targets on the clearout to the left one close and one far.

Looks line a great start!

Btw the edit button goes away after a few hours.
I guess what you are trying to say nicely is that I got a long way to go and not done yet!

Much like your cabin, you or your sons will want more, soon! Texas Stars, Plate Racks, Polish Plate Racks, Poppers, Flippers, Swingers, you'll want it all.

Where is the best place to buy some stands to hold cardboard or paper targets?
What do you guys consider the most useful and practical metal targets if I was to purchase some more?
I hate to purchase a plate rack because I could buy individual 6 inch or 8 inch plates for way way cheaper!

Check with Range Master Rowdy he has good prices and is a forum sponsor.

In haven't seen a good paper target stand for sale. The ones I have seen are not reasonably priced cause its essentially dumb iron and its expensive to ship. I welded my own up out of scrap steel.

Plate racks are expensive that's why I started out with about 50 pieces of knock down steel. I eventually got tires of resetting the knock downs and wanted to be able to shoot more and resetless so I bought done hanging steel from TACCOM then finally broke down and bought a plate rack from MGM.

Here is a link to the taccom steel.

Well TACCOM is not currently selling the steel because they are super busy with caddys. I bet you could contact Tim and sweet talk him into a set though.

I also built a poor mans plate rack out of 6 hanging AR500 steel plates stacked close together.

This is what I am going to do.

For paper, these cost me about 25 bucks. 1 10ft stick PVC, 2 furring strips and PVC fittings.
