Uh...so...when adjusting the retention on your 3gun holster, I'd recommend stuffing a full mag into the holster and then shaking the holster like crazy. When you can't shake the gun out anymore, that's probably good.

Otherwise...it might cost you the best 3gun finish of your life. Just sayin'.

Hell, the ROs apologized to me after the DQ I so richly reserved.

That's why I went back to using my Raven. The other holster I was using didn't feel all that secure.

I just bought a BladeTech (Pro Series IDPA PAK) for my M&P and I can't say I'm thrilled about it. It's the same type of holster I had for my XD and it felt way more secure. Why are the retention screws down at the bottom where the barrel is and not at the top where it makes the most contact with the gun? I read quite a few favorable reviews.

Once you get used to the locking mechanism, the new Blade-Tec WRS works fantastic on stages where you have to shoot shotgun or rifle and move alot prior to engaging with the pistol. I carry a normal Blade-Tec and one of these for my ELS setup so i can switch back and forth. Below is a link to one at Shooters Source (I am not affiliated so its just where I got mine) so you can see it. The latch over the hammer is spring loaded and pretty quick retracting.
