Any luck on your pig hunts?

I didn't have any luck Monday. Going to head out there this morning.

Didn't see any hogs this morning. I've been getting out there an hour before official sunrise and then waiting. I'm starting to think they're just out in the middle of the night or are only on the property occasionally.

You will see them more during the day when it gets colder. When its warm out they are mostly nocturnal. I've set my feeder for late morning and early afternoon but when it warm they are there at night. Nothing better then two good hog dogs or trap.

Hogs aren't like deer. They don't have a bedding area, and travel to feeding areas. They are feeders of opportunity, and randomly wander from food source to food source.
