No "clone" here; up for sale is the real deal, my HK 91, date code IA (1980). It has the black A2 stock configuration, with an E&L Mfg Co buttstock extention on it. This adds about an inch over the standard stock. Forearm is the "wide" type and has the built-in bi-pod. Will come with a carry handle which I haven't installed; I like the "idea", and the looks, of the carry handle, but found it more suitable to not have it on the rifle. This rifle has the standard 17.7" barrel with flash hider.

Some of the pictures show it with a nylon sling, but it comes with an "original issue" leather sling that I purchased from HKParts.net as shown in a couple of the other pictures. This one is a "shooter", and it does have a few nicks and scratches on the finish from being used since 1980. But a "sweet" shooter it is!! Even with the standard buffer, the felt recoil seems to me to be much less than either of my AR-15's. That's just a subjective comparison, but it really does seem more pleasant to shoot (at about 9.5 lbs, it surely ought to absorb a little more of the kick.....!). Bolt gap is well within specs at .014".

Also included will be a Maxpedition rifle bag, (10) 20-rd magazines and (1) 5-rd mag. I printed off a copy of an HK 91 manual I found on-line, but the information provided is meager to say the least. Youtube videos are much more informative if you need information on disassembly, reassembly, etc. Of course, one of the hallmarks of this weapon is how very, very simple it is. You need zero tools to work on it, until you get down to bolt disassembly/roller replacement. And then all you need is a pin punch.

For the package described above, I'm asking $3,000. Like most people, I would prefer cash, but I'm always willing to listen to trade options. Trades most likely to interest me would be: high-quality traditional muzzleloaders-rifle or pistol, cap & ball pistols. For an additional $250, only with the purchase of the rifle package, I will include the two 200 round sealed battle packs of Winchester 145 grain .308 ammunition shown in some of the photos. PM me if interested.

I'm not positive as to exactly what you're referring to, but if it's pictures #2 and #3, which shows the ejection port, you're seeing the bolt assembly which doesn't actually have any discoloration on it, but does look somewhat brown in the photo.
