If you guys haven't tried one yet, I suggest you do. I put one in last night, and its sub 2lbs. It feels like a bolt rifle trigger. I'll prolly put the lighter springs in it to make it a little heavier...ironic I know. It's a pretty ingenious way to do an ar trigger, I'm surprised no one had thought of it yet.

I didn't know there were different model. I saw palmetto had a deal on one with a lpk. Mine is base model I guess. It has a some take up on it. I polished the machining marks of the engagement surfaces and am I getting 1lbs 10ozs. It is buttery smooth like a rifle trigger with a nice reset. I'm not sure about hoser stages yet though. I'm worried about it being too light.

Well if this is junk, I'll take junk! Its light years ahead of my jp. If I decide to leave it that light, I'll prolly keep the pre travel one in. If the others don't have any pre travel and they are this light, I'd be worried about ad's.

Yeah, you just push this little bar past some hooks, then swap springs. It has about 2 lbs worth of adjustment. It takes about 30 secs to swap them.

Light years ahead of the JP? Come on now. Lets not lose our heads. Unless your JP wasn't adjusted properly, I don't believe it.

My jp was nice, it broke right under 3 lbs. It was nice, but it wasnt anywhere near as nice for the longer range stuff. What little pretravel this has is smooth, and you literally cannot feel it break. It remains to be seen on the short fast stuff, but I burned a few quickly and didn't notice the pre travel. I'm not a great shot by any means, but I shot a couple "groups" under match style conditions(kneeling, bracing off a barrel, a little out of breath) and was able to keep about 75% in the a zone on a uspsa target at 400 yards. Which was an improvement for me.

My jp had no pre travel. My jp felt great...until I shot this. Triggers are like chicks, everyone has different taste. In my opinion, it's superior to the triggers I have felt(jp, giessele, cmc). I havent checked out the ar gold though. One thing I can guarantee is this thing will not have a problem with light primer strikes with certain primers. The way they they set-up the trigger and hammer guarantees that.

I prefer drunken triggers with questionable morals and daddy issues.....the stories tend to be better.
That gets a like only because I can't do a double like.
