High Cap Hose down time again at Ponca Rifle and Pistol Club

I think the max round count is 63. Of course one stage has two Texas stars on it, another one has like 18 plates and 19 poppers. Yeah, I'm going to the line with 100 rounds. I have elected to not ask anyone to reload my mags, i will take the mikes.

I've been watching the radar all evening on my phone. From what I've seen the major rain has missed the range. It got some light showers, but so far so good.

See ain't ya glad I put on my Pink VooDoo thong undies? I did like the crazy lady I bought them from told me to do an looks to be working BUT I did throw in the rain goodies just in case. Later,

Kirk

Having less than 80 stepping up to shoot is probably asking for problems. I'm going to have 100 available per stage.

I was planning on carrying 108 rounds in 6 mags, but if these good shooters are carrying 100, I may still be in trouble because I'm a :sign0104: but that makes it fun everytime I go to a match, I'm always doing something I haven't done before.

We got a little rain last night, don't know how much at the range, but it looks like all the storms have moved east. I don't see any thing else headed our way at the moment.

This match was epic! Thanks to everyone involved who made it happen.

We didn't get rained on at all, either!

match was great... i do have one complaint, i was told there wasn't going to be another high cap hosedown until next year!!!

Had a great time at the match, got to shoot texas stars and that spinning plate rack for my first time. Thanks to my squad mates for not rolling in the mud laughing when I forgot to shoot 1/3 of a stage. I surely locked in last place with that performance. Maybe my calling is taping :D

Anyone who didnt make it because of the weather, you missed out...It was a blast despite the mud...

I dub it, Ponca City Swamp Shoot!!!

CHHOOOTTT EM!!!!

I'd like to thank the guys for putting this together and hanging in there even with the bad weather.

Absolutely couldn't agree more. Thanks for not pulling the plug on this.
Also, thanks especially for the early morning updates.
That's extremely helpful for those travelling from a distance.

Thanks again guys, The match was awesome!!!!!

It was a swamp for sure! Swamp shoot-iron man shoot, several names come to mind.
Thank you guys for being brave enough to come up and shoot with us!
The match directors really enjoy putting this on for you. We had a little meeting after everybody left, and I can promise you that there will be rock in the new bays, and additional rock in the older bays.
McGuire, wish you didn't have to leave before lunch. I was trying to find you so I could meet another forum member FTF. Next time!
