I enjoy him too. Interesting character for sure.Don't ya just love this guy? I sure do love his videos. Quite the character. Started watching his most recent video, Glock 19 which I have and a few other Glocks.
Agreed, Hickok45 has that seasoned personality, not growing up simply on the Youtube ecosystem.Been watching him 9-10 years, do enjoy his videos, wish I enjoyed his sons as much as I do Hickok45, I think he is a good dude, surprised to see him split from Bud's and I guess he doesn't have an ammo sponsor but I'm sure he can afford to buy his own
Could it be because he was a teacher for years that he seems to talk more? He's awful verbose for me, but he sure can shoot. Sometimes I have to mute his videos, too much talking and not enough shootin'. He's "pretty knowledgeable" but not infallible, either, he does muck up some stuff from time to time. We all do that, of course.
So when I saw him, I was thinking he had to play some basketball or something.Actually got to meet him once at the Wanamaker gun show in Tulsa Oklahoma. (Largest gun show in the world)
East to spot in a crowd as he's got to be 6', 5" tall.
We chatted for a few moments and he went on his way.
His home setup is incredible.
Are you referring to the Browning A5 video? That was fantastic! In years past I worked as an electronics/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and whatever industrial maintenance tech until retirement. Multicraft industrial tech.
I had to interview and work with folks wanting to get the into that position on request of management.
Easy to tell the experienced vs the newb in how they handled their tools.
I'm impressed how easy Hickok loads and handles new firearms and is comfortable in his craft. He is the professional.
I would have hired him in a heartbeat.
Watching his video on shotgun slugs as we speak.
