Hi from frigid Idaho

62 retired from manufacturing plutonium triggers for nukes after 31 years. I enjoyed shooting National Match hi power years ago mainly used the Garand. For the past 3 years I enjoyed shooting a trap and five stand league. A good friend who shoots a lot of 3 gun here in Southeast Idaho has talked me into giving it a try sounds like fun. I'm looking forward reading and participating in the forums and anxious to learn.

I have several rifles and handguns that will work well but I have to get a shotgun all I have is a trap gun. I posted already asking about a gun at the gun shop where I work a NIB SX3 that the owner will let me have for $700. I thought I could use it just put a Nordic tube and a little work and it might do?

SX3 isn't "bad" but for $700 you could probably find a used Benelli M1 or a New Stoeger M3000.

The rifle I'd have to use now is an LMT 11.5" SBR with Aimpoint Patrol that I normally shoot suppressed with an AAC M4-2000. I have a Noveske SPR 18" but it's to heavy I guess I could change out the upper fora lighter profile barrel. The only two non revolvers I have are a Sig 226 and an old Wilson Combat Classic .45.
