Site looks great. I am new and already see friendlys. This is good. Wich one has a bigger cool factor, saiga 12 or .308 ? Both by tromix.

Not trying to scare you off, but if you have a particular question about those two firearms, other than "which is cool", then we'd be happy to help you. This board deals with firearms for defense and for competitions; and the training of each.

Im not too familiar with the Tromix stuff other than I hear that there is a long wait to get one. If you want a Saiga that is winning in 3 gun matches. The two I see most are made by R&R Racing and Firebird Precision.

I have a chance to choose one and cant decide. Only have a couple of days to decide so it can be built.

If you are getting it built that soon get the 12 gauge for the resale value alone. You can buy a bunch of much better AR based 308's. The saiga 12 is the only competitive and moderately reliable magazine fed shotgun.

I guess I'm the minority on this one. While I don't own a saiga .308 I have had the opportunity to fire one, and I really liked it. The resale of the 12 is better, but I have a special place in my heart for the .308 so I'm biased and would go with that!
