My choice as close to stock as possible. As I age ( 71 in May) I do prefer wider rear sight notch than the older narrow style, but still in the retro style. I have a couple with beaver tail grip safeties. Standard Colt style thumb safeties. I prefer blue, but admit to having two two toned ones. Love the old girl Mike.

I'm more of a traditional gal myself. I have the fun race gun 2011s and such, and feel like the 1911s I will acquire will end up being more traditional and true to their heritage.
