I have an AI m2 26" barrel and +9 nordic tube that has ran flawless for forever. I mostly shoot factory division with an 8 round limit and recently put on a +7 tube to make it a little shorter so less likely to come out of dump barrel. Shoot be no biggie right? Well the nordic low drag follower gets hung in the gap between the stock mag tube and nordic mag tube just about every time. I have the barrel nut snugged down absolutely as far down on the stock mag tube as possible and then after that i have the +7 tube snugged down in the barrel nut as far as possible. Using nordic spring trimmed with about 15 inches hanging out. I cant figure out why the follower is catching on these threads in between the the 2 tubes and it never did on the +9 tube.... pissin me off something awful though.

Make sure the spring end thats going into the follower isnt kinked and putting pressure on one side of the follower. The spring end should be bent so as to be kind of flat and small enough diameter as it sits in the follower

I've never found a reason to use anything but the stock follower. I'm sure there are benefits to the Nordic follower but I guess I don't need them.

Same here. My stock unit has never failed me.

The aftermarket followers help us pre-semipros look badass.

the stock benelli followers often need a massage. one of the things I do that are part of tuning/reliability work

The stock 930 follower is junk and caused FTF on a couple stages, once twice in the same stage! I went with the nordic follower and never had a problem since.
