I want o build an inexpensive upper for my palmetto group buy lower. Where can I get the cheapest stuff to build it out or should I just buy a inexpensive complete upper from somebody like DSA?

I have a DPMS flattop 16" carbine upper.

I just ordered a DSA last night - for $300 - added a bcg and charging handle and I have like 420 in the complete upper. I hope its in this week if you wanna play with it (just don't tell your wife your playing with my stuff)

That's the one I bought....figured it would be budget enough for me

I got my charging handle for like 17 from Palmetto State Armory (They have 10% off right now so when you add it to your cart they take 10% off)

RRA BCG - 116 with free shipping - http://www.eaglearmory.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_51&products_id=35

I got the CHROME one so I can be bling bling for 129 - http://www.eaglearmory.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22_51&products_id=273

I looked on their site and didn't see anything - what I like to do is go to ARFCOM and look at the Equip Exchange and then New Uppers - businesses usually post good deals there

Buy mine and then you can have a pistol while you wait for your stamp to come in! B)

You get a pistol buffer, tube and spring for $70.00 from Stag or RRA. Put it on your lower in place of the collapsible stock and Wah-Lah. Your happening. Next you file your form 1 for the SBR, and wait out your 3-4 months to get approved, and then you replace the pistol buffer, tube and spring with a collapsible stock and it's SBR goodness time.

Nope. Then it has to stay a pistol. You log the receiver as receiver and then don't put a stock on it until you get the form 1 back. You can run it as a pistol that way and then do the conversion.

I just saw a 20 in DSA upper on AR 15.com for 280 shipped that seems pretty cheap.

They have them on their website for $280 but I am not sure I want the HBAR barrel that comes in those. I think I might go with that intermediate length M4 style that Brandon bought.
