I'm new to the group. Thanks for letting me join. I'm retired and enjoy shooting my 1911's. I have a STI Escort 45ACP that I'm especially close to and it's fairly light so the recoil is a bit sharp so shooting a 100-150 rounds is hard on my hands so I had owned several Tisas1911's and sold them and just got another recently a 1911 A1 with a forged steel slide & frame which makes it heavier and recoil less so I can shoot the same amount of rounds with less arthritis issues. All of the 1911 Tisas's I've owned have been well made guns. Have a great day.

Welcome to the best 1911 or anything else site on the planet. This is where real patriots of the USA hangout. You can speak your peace and not be censored. Totally 100% 2nd Amend. My favorite for the $$$ is Less Bear and Springer Operators. Kimbers are good but the Swartz safety sucks. Big Time!
