Hello everyone. My name is Wade and I am a Fire Captain in Kansas.
i began shooting 1911's shorty after turning 21. I came to age during the assault weapons ban, so a 1911 was really the choice gun among the shooters that I knew. I switched to polymer guns in the early 2000's, but kept coming back to 1911's. I just recently picked up a used STI 4.15 tactical to try out the 2011's.
I think I have finally found a gun that I will stay with.
I look forward to learning more about 1911 and 2011's on the forum.
