Hello everyone, I'm new to the site and to all the competitive shooting. I have never shot in any competitions or matches. I'm hoping to get some advice on gear I need and training I can do to get started. This looks like a great site with a lot of cool people can't wait to get some knowledge.

I am just south of you in Lyndon. There is a good set of links to area matches on here under the local kansas matches section. Topeka has USPSA and IDPA matches. Mill Creek (DeSoto) has them as well as 3 gun.
