Hello everybody. I grew up shooting and hunting and have been thinking about shooting a 3-gun match this summer. I'm excited to learn and grow as a shooter!

Figure out which match you'd like to shoot and then post on Boomer Shooter that you're interested in shooting the match. List what gear you have and others will bring what you don't have or let you run their gear to get in the game. You're in the right place if you want to get into competitive shooting. 3 gun, USPSA, Steel Challenge, Pro Am, etc. It's all fun. Be sure to ask any questions you have!

Everybody is very welcoming, thank you! I have learned a lot just searching through the forum. However, I was wondering how far the average shot taken with a pistol is during a 3gun match. does anybody have an estimate?
