Hello from Mountain Rest

Names Don Sanders, I'm a retired Army Helicopter Crew Chief. I was born in Columbia and my family goes back three generations here in SC. I was on the GANG State Rifle team for ten years. I'm schooled trained to build/repair the National Match M14 while I was on the service rifle team. I do some gun smith work thru Barrett Trading in Westminster. My eye sight is not what it was so I'm shooting bench rest these days but still love to work on the old US military rifles. I've been back in SC since my last vacation in Iraq paid for by the US Military, that was 2006. I just found out about the Palmetto forums from a couple buddies that frequent here and hope to be able to pick up some knowledge and maybe share a little bit of what I've learned myself. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and hope the new year is profitable and joyous for all.
